Hi...thank you for suggesting this. I downloaded and installed and migrated data and then tried downloading a new acsm book from the Ontario Library Service but it still crashed unexpectedly during fulfilment.

4.03 for the Mac seems to have solved my crashing problems.  I downloaded an .acsm file from my library and it opened without any problems.

I have a new computer and I don't remember my password tried to use a new one and it won't work

Hi,

If you want to upgrade to ADE 4.0.3, for that you need not to uninstall the current version.

If you can't quit or force quit the ADE, please reboot your system. Then process won't be running.

You can find the older versions of ADE from here.

But if you could share some more details on the crash you are facing, it will be great.

Please share details like:

OS (Win/Mac)

OS version.

ADE version.

Any Error/logs you are getting on crash.

If the book is free or non-drm protected, it will be great if you could share the book.

- Crashes while downloading. After I reopened it said 0 pages.

- Downgraded to ADE 3.0, installed the book without issues. I can open it too.

- Upgraded to ADE 4.0.3, the book is still there.

- Tried to open it and it crashed with the log above.

I experience the identical fail with my Nook Color and ADE V.4.x

Hi chiragjuneja...thank you for your interest in this. I tried including the error log but Adobe Forum wouldn't accept it likley because it's too long. So, I've cut it back by removing the binary images...I can send them if you want; I don't know how useful the entire tome is!
