my internet connection is slow
i try to download books from the dutch library
e books section
after a few minutes i get the message

Why is my nook not getting recognized?
I just got a book from First to Read and I went to transfer it to my Nook. I can't get my nook to show on adobe digital. It's the newest edition. I have transferred books before so I am not sure what the issue is. I have restarted my computer and I have taken all the steps I could find with a google search.

Re: "Error check activation" is the message I get when pulling a book from the library. My computer is authorized (per the ADE screen) I have tried un-authorrzing and re-authorizing but nothing works. Please help
What finally worked for me was the following : Open up your ADE and hit CTRL + Shift +D. It will ask if you want to unauthorize. Do that and follow the instructions for a new authorization. I used my old e-mail and password. Works great. Hope this helps.

What does it mean when I get an activation server error message : E_adept_ internal.

I know the password is correct, as other devices and this site have accepted the password. I would like help in uninstalling a few of the devices where the program is no longer needed.
I would like to use Adobe Digital Editions on a new Nook Tablet. I believe I have gone over the limit of devices and this may be why my password is being rejected on the new device. I would like to uninstall the program from devices where it is no longer needed.
Obviously my password is correct, as I am logged on here.

FYI - I corrected the problem myself by deleting ITunes and then downloading a EPub book from the
library. Somehow I had pointed the download tool to ITunes - without ITunes I was able to specify
ADE as the app to use for downloading. Now I will reload Itunes

"User not activated"
When trying to open a book downloaded to my Nook I get the message Error Dialog "User not activated". Other books downloaded at the same time work fine. What is causing this?

"Assertion Failed" error message.
I recently added a new title to my ADE library. After opening the title, every time I try to scroll down from the title page or scroll up from the table of contents, ADE crashes and I get this “Assertion Failed!” message. According to it, the break happens in the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime in the file ...\src\rmsdk_api_reader_cpp, and in the line 1360 with the expression, loc!=NULL.
I was wondering if there were any fixes for this? I should add all other titles in my library work normally. In fact scrolling down from the table of contents in this problem title is fine as well. This break only happens in one particular spot in the title and that is when scrolling between the title page and the table of contents. The content provider claims it is a problem with ADE and not its title.

How can I authorize my acount in other computers?
Hi everybody:
I was trying the Digital editions for a while. Now I have to authorize my a account in some computers, but the number of authorizations has gone to the limit. I deleted the authorizations in the previous computers, however I can't make my account work.
Do you know how can I release the previous authorizations?

I have the same problem of Mempho12.
I tried to uninstall ADE and reinstal it but the problem remain.
Using ctrl+shift+D is not a solution on my PC.
If I install ADE on another PC all work but not on my pc.
Please help me.

E_ADEPT_INTERNAL followed by Unable to Erase Authorization. How do I fix this?
I installed it its been four hours but installed it with the wrong email. My school ebooks are all in another email account, and I am trying to de-authorize ADE and authorize it with the right email account. It keeps on saying it is unable to erase authorization.
