Adobe Community: Message List - Adobe Digital Editions

I get a message on kobo that I'm using the wrong account as my 2 kobos have separate email addresses. How do I consolidate them?

Also having same problem. No help from the support department. I have tried the possible solution link provided by Chirag and it did not work.

Cannot open ebooks in the .acsm format. All other formats open just fine.

I have only one ebook reader. But after 6 crashes I cannot reactivate Adobe DRM because Adobe tells me I have used 6 devices.

I have the same problem. I've already called the Adobe customer service and tried the 24hr chat with no help...

Hi, I bought an e-book in PDF format that uses Adobe DRM. I've created an account on adobe.com and tried downloading the book in Adobe Digital Editions on the Mac (as well as the bookstore's e-reader--logged into my Adobe account--on an Android device).

It tries to download the book but get's the following error:

Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:

E_ADEPT_DOCUMENT_TYPE_UNKNOWN:

Has anyone come across this? Any guidance would be most appreciated!

Bought books and cannot download in my tablet. Got message: import failed (E_ADEPT_NO_TAKEN) What does that mean and what xan I do to get my books? I DID DOWNLOAD ADOBE DIGITAL EDITIONS.

I'm also having the same issue. I can see the page number changing at the bottom of the screen but the page in view does not change. If I toggle the full screen button, the page in view will update to correct page. WTF

My problem was that digital editions 4 stopped working after a restart -- it did not start at all, even though it had worked

by deleting the Adobe_Systems_Incorporate folder, it then worked

I Just bought a book in PDFs format with my iPad. The vendor site says I need to install Adobe digital edition, but I can't find a link to install adobe digital edition on an iPad air. Can anybody help ?

I cannot access on my Kobo a book borrowed from a public library anymore. This is the first time I borrow a book from a library. I think this comes from the 21-day borrowing period allowance. The message is: "This book is protected by Adobe Digital Right Management and can not be open with your Adobe ID. Connect with your authorized Adobe ID and try again. www.kobo.com/help." I did that, but nothing significant happens. I do not know how to keep going. I do have a MAC.

Whenever I try to transfer an ebook to my nook (via a macbook), it says adobe has quit unexpectedly and gives me an error code. Does not successfully transfer the ebook.

when I try to return an e-book sometimes I get BAD_LOAN_ID and something about a server communication problem and can't return the e-book. what do I do?

I installed the adobe digital edition 4. I managed to get 3 ebooks downloaded and then, the 4th ebook wouldn't download and I would get the error message:

"Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem: E_ADEPT_USER_AUTH"

How can I fix this problem?
