You can't install Digital Editions.
You may be able to install Bluefire, Aldiko or Overdrive, which are the apps typically used on Android tablets to read Adobe DRM books.
It may be that Amazon has locked you out from those with its limited app store, as it likes to force you into buying Amazon books.
