If so, first make sure that ADE is registered to the ID you want it registered to. Deauthorize it (ctrl-shift-D) and then reauthorize it to ID you want to use. Even if it is showing what you think is correct authorization, it can sometimes get confused semi-authorization ... this deauthorize/reauthorize clear up any doubt.
Then deauthorize the Kobo, using ctrl-shift-E while plugged into ADE. Restart ADE, and then the Authorize Device option should show up. If you do this, then the device will be authorized with the same ID as ADE, and you should be able to copy books.
