Adobe DRM is a complete pain.
Your next step is to contact Adobe Live Chat: http://www.adobe.com/support/chat/ivrchat.html and ask them to reset ALL your authorizations.
You will then have to reauthorize the devices you still want.
However, if the Bluefire/AdobeDRM combination is misbehaving that way you'll soon get back to the same problem.
I've had Bluefire running on a borrowed iPad without too many issues, but that may be because I hardly ever use it,
I prefer a much lighter 5" eReader; it doesn't hith my wrists and doesn't hurt so much when I fall asleep reading and drop it on myself.
