Have you been through the steps I suggested?
If so, I assume it was still giving that message even at step 4 (reauthorize)?
In more detail
- Start ADE (Digital Editions)
- ctrl-shift-D to ADE (cmd-shift-D on a Mac) while in Library view
- Restart ADE,
- Try again to authorize.
If that doesn't work, another thing you could try is installing the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0. Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.
(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)
Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.
