I've been able to read books on my computer, the problem comes in getting them on my galaxy tab.I can drag and drop on the library tab on the galaxy when it's connected to my computer, but when I try to open the file with the galaxy it doesn't see it.  it doesn't show up on the books list oranywhere else.I tried going to openlibrary.org directly with overdrive thru the tab, but it doesn't recognize openlibrary.org as a library and won't read books from it.openlibrary.org website says the only way to read books is with adobe digital editions.I've deadended each way I've turned.can you suggest anything as to why galaxy can't see the books i've put there?thanks!

Can you read the borrowed book within ADE (Digital Editions)?

Steps that just worked for me as far as that:

goto openlibrary.orgselect bookdownload as .epubthis causes a .acsm file to appear in my downloadsclick on the .acsm file to open in ADEthat will make ADE download a .epub file and read it Have you gone through those steps and did it work ok?

Step 5 sometimes gets broken (especially in Windows 8) where the file association isn't made correctly.

In that case, you have to open ADE and drag-drop the .acsm file onto ADE.

To read on a tablet, copy the .epub file from the computer to the tablet (not the .acsm file).

Make sure that both your copy of ADE and the tablet are authorized with the same Adobe ID.

You may be able to borrow directly from the tablet using the Overdrive app,

skipping ADE and the computer altogether.

I've never had much luck with that on a borrowed iPad.
